I’ve not been personally but I’ve heard good things and the online ratings speak for themselves. Found on the corner of Carr Lane and Paragon Arcade, it’s “a stylish and casual space offering the foods, wines, craft beers and spirits of Spain and Latin America.” Sounds like something a bit different and the photos look tempting enough. They serve cantina style street food for lunch and innovative modern Hispanic cooking for dinner.
Sumo Hessle

Now this one I can vouch for! My wife and I absolutely love the Sumo at Flemingate in Beverley. Gary, the owner, has now opened his second restaurant in Hessle with an extensive East Asian menu and the food is incredible. Wagamamma really doesn’t have anything on this place, trust me!
Long An Restaurant
2-4 Paragon Street, Hull HU1 3QT
This new addition to Hull is exclusively Vietnamese food which apparently is similar to Thai cuisine. The presentation looks fantastic and it has excellent reviews. One to try if you’re looking for something very new.
Estabulo
Flemingate, Beverley
If you’re absolutely famished then look no further than one of the top rated restaurants on Tripadvisor. Estabulo is a Brazilian style buffet restaurant at Flemingate in Beverley. With 50% discount right now, it’s an absolute bargain for all you can eat meat.

Even in Summer, you can’t beat some good quality pub grub. Well if that’s what you fancy, The Star Inn in Willerby has to be one to try. Try out the specials menu – this week is Grab Salad, something I’m very keen to try.
