Passengers are reminded to check before travelling with Hull Trains this coming weekend as reduced timetables will be introduced due to industrial action.

The 08:24 service from Hull will be the only service to London King’s Cross on Saturday, 13th August, whilst a reduced timetable will be implemented the following day, Sunday 14th August.

Customers should continue to check the Hull Trains website and social media channels for further updates as services on days after industrial action may also be affected.

Significant disruption is anticipated by other train operators over the weekend due to industrial action affecting the wider network.

David Gibson, Managing Director, said: “I would encourage all customers to plan ahead before travelling this weekend as regular timetables will be affected across the network.

“Reduced timetables will also be in operation on some days next week. As always, we are determined to keep our passengers moving and will be doing all we can to make that happen.”

Ticket holders for cancelled or affected services can change their travel date to 7 days either side of the original booked date or claim a refund.
