Live tribute gigs at The Country Park

If it’s live tribute acts and bands you love, then look no further than our first two suggestions on this list. The first one being The Country Park at Hessle Foreshore. If you’ve never been, it’s a fantastic venue tucked away at the end, when you drive down Cliff Road.

This Christmas, they’re dishing up some of the most popular tribute acts you can find right now including tributes to The Jersey Boys, Bruno Mars, Madness and of course, Michael Buble (it is Christmas after all!). They also have an 80s and a 90s night too, blasting out your favourites from those decades!

Every party night is served up with a delicious 3 course festive menu, a disco til late, and access to a bar. At less than £30pp, it’s great value.

Live tribute bands at The Village Hotel

The Village Hotel, Henry Boot Way, Hessle

The second of of our suggested tribute gig specialists is the Village Hotel at Priory Park in Hessle. The hotel will be hosting Christmas party tributes nights to Take That, Abba, Swing, 70s, 90s as well as a Boogie Bingo night!

Along with the live entertainment, tickets include a tasty 3 course dinner and a bar that’s open until very late. Prices start from just £35!

Magical Meal at Doubletree by Hilton

3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th December 2021 – Ferensway, Hull

After opening in 2017, the Doubletree by Hilton hotel on Ferensway in Hull city centre, is still one of the most stylish venues for Christmas party nights in Hull in 2021.

Each party begins with pre-party drinks in the very cool, Lexington rooftop bar, followed by a sit-down 3-course festive meal with your friends. After which, you can dance the night away with a DJ playing all kinds of tunes until late.

If you’re looking for somewhere super-stylish, and that’s easy to get to, then this is the venue for you. Prices start from £36 per person and take place every Friday & Saturday night throughout December.

Waterfront Venue – Bridlington Spa

10th & 17th December 2021 – South Marine Drive, Bridlington

If you fancy a Christmas party with your colleagues by the coast, the huge Bridlington Spa art-deco venue is hosting dinner, dancing and fine wine for the festive season, with an incredible menu included.

If the Hog roast and apple pate starter doesn’t tempt you, then the Baileys cream & chocolate profiteroles certainly will. Tickets are just £27.50 each.

Comedy & Disco at Bonus Arena

Friday 10 December – Myton Street, Hull City Centre

A good belly laugh! – That’s what’s needed this year after being locked up for most of last year.

So be entertained at Hull’s largest indoor venue by two UK touring comedians and then dance the night away afterwards with a DJ and disco. If you’re feeling brave enough, there’s a planned Karaoke sesh afterwards.

Go VIP at Comedy Lounge

Every Friday & Saturday night – George Street, Hull city centre

Hull’s only dedicated venue to stand-up comedy, have comedy nights every Friday and Saturday throughout the year. So why not look into booking a VIP package, and take your friends or colleagues for a night of laughter.

It’s just £120 for a table of 6 (£20 each) and includes a bottle of Prosecco. If you’re looking for food too, they have an extensive food menu (I was there recently and the food looks amazing!) and plenty of drink options. For small work teams, this could be an ideal night out for you.

Casino tables at the MKM Stadium

3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th & 18th December 2021 – West Park, Hull

If there was an award in this Christmas parties Hull 2021 list for ‘Best All Rounder’ then this is probably it…

The Tigers Events team at the MKM Stadium (formerly KCOM Stadium) have conjured up some Christmas party nights in Hull to remember. Experience a live band with a three-course festive dinner, followed by a DJ & Disco. There’s a drink waiting for each guest on arrival, a free photo booth, as well as casino tables with actual prizes to be won on the night!

For £39.95, we think it’s a pretty decent price for such a big package.

Big Fun for Big Kids

Every Friday night, 8pm – 10pm – National Avenue

Ok so here’s the wildcard of the pack…

If you’re after something a bit unusual to celebrate Christmas together this year, or the idea of sit-down entertainment might seem a bit boring, then have a look a Big Fun on National Avenue.

Every Friday night, 8pm until 10pm, Big Fun host an over-18s event so the adults can enjoy the fun of the slides, tubes and trampolines together. It’s not just for young ‘uns either… they get the complete spectrum of ages turn up.

And what’s more, there’s a bar where there’s a happy hour 8pm – 9pm where drinks are Buy One Get One Free! And if you want food, there’s a fast food menu of burgers, chips, etc.

Bowling Party

Anytime – Hollywood Bowl, Kingswood Leisure Park

If Big Fun is just a bit too ‘out there’ for you and your friends / colleagues, but you still want something more active, then think about a Bowling Party at Hollywood Bowl in Kingswood.

You get to have more civilised fun while trying to contain your competitive streak in an unobvious way. You can book drinks and food from the American Diner menu for everyone or everyone can just pay for themselves.

You book anytime too (so no set date and time) making it easier to get everyone together. There’s free cancellations too (just in case!)

70s Rock Night at Service Station

Saturday 18 December 2021 – George Street, Hull city centre

As entertainment goes, a 70s rock night might be just the way to celebrate Christmas in 2021 with your friends and colleagues.

Burning Sky are a five-piece tribute band that cover classic rock hits from the likes of Deep Purple, ZZ Top, Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin just to name a few.

At only £5 entry, it’s the lowest price in this list for live entertainment, leaving plenty left over for your choice of drinks at the bar.
