All you need to know about the huge grassroots music festival near Hull this weekend

Cottingham Springfest is making its much-anticipated return, offering a wave of free music shows across the village. After a successful debut last year, the festival aims to uplift both local venues and musicians.

This year, the festival takes place from the 24th to the 26th May, and features eight different venues & a special children’s stage at the King William IV pub. On the 25th May from 1pm to 3 pm, young bands like Black Salmon, whose members average just 11 years old, will perform! After the show, the area will transform into a play zone for kids.

Other venues include the Duke of Cumberland, Hallgate Tavern, Tiger, Raph’s Lounge, Cassiel Bar, Woksoever, and Cross Keys. Each venue promises unique acts, ensuring non-stop entertainment throughout the weekend.
