Family-owned housebuilder Beal Homes has launched a Beal Buyer Bonus to give customers who reserve this Autumn peace of mind as they move into their new home.

New buyers who reserve from now and complete their purchase by the end of 2022 will receive £250 a month directly into their bank account for the following 12 months.

The monthly bonus applies to all Autumn buyers of Beal homes scheduled to be ready for occupation in this calendar year. The payments will begin in the first month after legal completion and provide a big boost to buyers in their first year as Beal homeowners.

While new-build homes are naturally more energy efficient and much cheaper to run, the bonus will be especially welcome for buyers during the Autumn and Winter when energy bills are highest.

The bonus is a key part of a wider Peace of Mind Pledge from the East Yorkshire-based housebuilder, launched in response to concerns around energy and living costs.

The Peace of Mind Pledge brings together a package of support for buyers, reflecting the multi award-winning housebuilder’s commitment to helping customers make the move to their dream new home.

Sue Waudby, Beal’s Sales and Marketing Director, said: “We appreciate energy bills and living costs are putting pressure on households and we want to offer meaningful support to our buyers at this time.

“Moving into a brand new home is a very special moment and buyers shouldn’t have that experience spoiled by worrying about bills.

“The £250 monthly Beal Buyer Bonus will make a big difference to our customers and give them peace of mind, enabling them to focus on settling into and enjoying their new home.”

The bonus is at the heart of Beal’s new Peace of Mind Pledge, underlining the housebuilder’s commitment to helping buyers and giving them additional confidence and reassurance.

The support from Beal includes:

  • Part Exchange – a simple four-step process in which Beal buys your existing home and makes your purchase as stress-free as possible.
  • Beal’s own Smooth Move scheme – buyers with an existing home benefit from a free valuation, no agent fees and help from Beal with arranging viewings and  negotiating the best price during the sale.
  • Independent mortgage advice – free advice from independent mortgage advisors who can help you find the best deal on the market for the purchase of your new home.

Autumn buyers who receive the Beal Buyer Bonus will also benefit from purchasing a home that is ready for immediate occupation, with carpets and flooring throughout and high-quality appliances fitted as standard. Furthermore, most of the Beal homes available for occupation before the end of 2022 come with thousands of pounds of upgrades.

Another major benefit is that all Beal’s homes are built to the residential benchmark for energy efficiency, with an EPC energy rating of B, while fewer than 4% of older properties reach this standard.

That means Beal buyers will make big savings on their energy bills compared to older properties, as well as incurring minimal maintenance costs for many years.

A new report,  Watt a Save*, by the Home Builders Federation has found buyers of new-build homes will save an average of more than £2,000 a year, while also cutting their carbon emissions by over two tonnes.

The report found the average annual running cost of a new-build home to be £1,500, compared to an average of £3,570 for older properties. The saving rises to £2,600 a year when looking at new-build houses alone, rather than smaller properties such as flats or bungalows.

Mrs Waudby added: “Buyers get so much more when they choose a Beal home. All of our homes are built to an exceptional quality and we offer so many features as standard that other housebuilders only offer at additional cost.

“Because of this, and the package of support and advice we provide, including the Beal Buyer Bonus, our buyers can have peace of mind that they’re making an excellent lifestyle choice and investment by moving to a luxuriously designed, energy efficient and low maintenance home, perfect for modern life.”
