A CITY OF MUSIC is a run of exhibitions curated by local photographer Victoria Smith, to celebrate the Hull’s eclectic music scene and the photographers who document it.
The first exhibition hosted by HOi was a huge success, raising £500 for local charity ‘Freedom Road Creative Arts’. Following on from this, we have taken an open call approach, allowing both emerging and established photographers with a connection to Hull to submit images.
Over 20 photographers with a connection to Hull have been selected for the exhibition. The opening party is a chance to meet the photographers and view the exhibition, with local acts providing entertainment for the night.
The event is free, and all photographs will be sold for affordable prices to raise money for Childrens music education at CIME.
The exhibition will run for a month.
