With this season of CCC fully in swing we’re ending the year’s run of comedy shows with an absolute belter.
We are back again at the newly refurbished Back Room in Cottingham, with December’s show featuring the brilliant Martin Mor as headliner.

With over 30 years experience as a professional performer, Martin has established himself as one of the UK’s most popular and in-demand comedians.
Martin has performed successfully at events of all description; from the Hammersmith Apollo to a show for the inmates of an Italian prison, from comedy clubs to performing in some of the most unique, and unusual locations.
In April 2016 Martin was part of a team that set the world record for the highest altitude comedy show by performing at 5,300m/17,600ft at Mount Everest basecamp.
Very much the comedian’s comedian, Martin has been the support act of choice for; Frankie Boyle, Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jasper Carrot, Patrick Kielty, Johnny Vegas, Steve Coogan, and once Tina Turner.
Martin has made numerous appearances on radio and television.
As well as devising and performing his own BBC television show, he has written jokes for some of the biggest names in British comedy.
Martin is a specialist MC, and a regular headline act at most of the UK’s major comedy clubs, and also performs at comedy, music, and arts festivals around the world.

Running since 2016, Cottingham Comedy Club, the village’s best* comedy venue, provides an unique comedy experience in many ways. This intimate club gets you up close and personal with the acts, many of whom are breaking through into TV, or are established acts from the UK and international comedy circuit. We are a welcoming venue and we have a dedicated room for the comedy, with regular breaks between the acts for you to lubricate your throats with laughter juice. With four acts and a compere it’s great value for money at less than £2 per comedian. We think it’s the most fun you can have with friends on a midweek night out.
We aim to run this as a regular night again, on the second Thursday of every month, as we were pre-pandemic (except occasionally when we can’t be arsed).
