This July community-producing company, ARCADE, welcomes international artist John Pfumonjena to Bridlington to bring a joyous and colourful celebration of Zimbabwean culture. John and his team have created a unique and energetic performance with impressive acrobatics and breakdance. Bridlington’s own Young Women’s Creative Company have worked alongside John and will perform in the show with the work they have devised, led by associate artist, Hannah Davies.
With dance, music, and a taste of Zimbabwean theatre, the performance is perfect for families* looking for something to do, and the culturally curious, keen to immerse themselves in something totally new. Expect influences of jazz and hip hop, and a chance to get involved yourselves.
