Daniel Isn’t Real (2019)

A shy and troubled boy called Luke finds solace in his imaginary friend Daniel after he witnesses a shooting in a coffee shop and his parent’s divorce. Unsurprisingly, Daniel is not what he seems. Daniel Isn’t Real has positive reviews and has an 82% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes with an average score of 7.21. Released on June 1st, you can watch the stylish and suspenseful film today.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019)

You can watch Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, on Friday the 5th of June on Sky Cinema. It is a 3D fantasy film that follows Maleficent as she acts as the guardian and protector of Aurora’s kingdom. Despite Maleficent’s good intentions, a queen from the neighbouring kingdom Ulstead plots against her. The film is praised for its acting and visuals and is well worth a look if you enjoyed the previous Maleficent movie.

The Dead Don’t Die (2019)

Set for release on June 7th, The Dead Don’t Die is an American zombie horror comedy film. It follows the formerly peaceful town of Centerville as they are attacked by a hoard of zombies after the dead mysteriously rise from the grave. Critics praise the movie for its sharp wit and a strong cast. If you’re you’re in the mood for a fun zombie film with enough brains to consume, then The Dead Don’t Die is well worth a look.

The Mustang (2019)

From June the 14th, you can catch The Mustang on Sky Cinema. The film follows a convict who participates in a rehabilitation programme involving the taming of wild horses. Critics praise the film as a moving redemption tale with powerful performances. It has an approval rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes with an average score of 7.55.

First Love (2019)

First love tells the story of a prostitute and a boxer who accidentally participate in a drug-smuggling scheme. The film has excellent ratings including a 97% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes with an average score of 7.7 and incorporates an intriguing blend of violence, comedy and romance. If you’re looking for something different with high ratings and positive reviews, then check out First Love on June the 17th.

Mr Jones (2019)

Mr Jones is a biographical thriller film that follows a renowned Welsh journalist who travels to the Soviet Union in 1933 and uncovers a devastating man-made famine in Ukraine known as the Holodomor. Critics describe the film as something bold and heartfelt. Change how you see history, and the world and catch Mr Jones on June 21st.
