First Look Inside Hull’s New Adventure Golf Attraction!

Fun and family-friendly attractions have been popping up all over Hull & East Yorkshire more and more frequently over the last few years, including escape rooms, trampoline parks, and arcades to name a few! Nothing, however, compares to the new The Lost City Adventure Golf attraction set to open very soon in Hull’s St Stephen’s Shopping Centre, that we visited on Tuesday afternoon.

Inspired by Indiana Jones! As soon as you step through the door, you’re part of the adventure!

Words honestly aren’t enough when trying to describe how fantastic this new attraction really is. From the spectacular special effects down to the minor but just as important artistic details, Lane Scott (Director and Owner) and Alice Carr (Marketing Manager) have poured their heart and soul into making this attraction an unforgettable experience!

Lane put it perfectly, the attraction is made “simply for everyone”. Families, students, stag dos, corporates, sober socials, couples, if you’re 3 or 103, The Lost City Adventure welcomes you all with open arms. There’s full disabled access, various sized putters for all ages, and student discounts available on the food and drink facilities!

The Tiki Bar!

Now before we get into everything golf-related, I first want to talk about what The Lost City Adventure’s food and drink facilities have to offer. This is no frozen food ‘pop it in the microwave and bob’s your uncle’ joint, no, there’s a lot more going on here. Freshly made stone-baked pizzas, mac & cheese, sweet potato fries, garlic bread, and all your other favourite side dishes. Mouthwatering right? Well, it gets better!

The Tiki Bar team are cocktail specialists. Featuring to name a few, all of the classics, Mojito’s, Margarita’s, Long Island Iced Tea’s, there’s also a Rhubarb & Custard cocktail, a Passionfruit Punch, a Hula Hula, a Lava Lava and my personal favourite is a wonderful mix of Chocolate Oatley, Disaronno, Cherry Brandy, and a Glacier Cherry garnish, which was actually a drink created by one of our own, a Hullian (I promise that’s not why it’s my fav) made especially for the bar and cleverly titled “It’s Never Dull in Hull”. If you’re not one for sweets, there’s also a fantastic range of draft beer, lager, soft drinks, and some delicious sounding milkshakes!

With student discounts, 2 for £10 cocktails, and even local live music nights planned, The Lost City Adventure nightlife will be electric, and yes you can take your drinks into the golfing area!

Everything Golf!

Now that there’s a rumble in your belly, let’s talk golf. The Lost City Adventure offers two 18-hole indoor adventure golf courses, fully pimped with professional-grade special effects, interactive features, exotic plants, water features, and artistic details, all key factors that transport players to a tropical rainforest!

When asked what brought The Lost City Adventure attraction to Hull, Lane and Alice both agreed a big part of it was meeting the people of Hull (oh we do know how to charm). Everyone they met had been friendly and full of personality, which paired with a great unit in an even greater location, won the team over and brought the branch to us!

As soon as Hull gets that Tier 2 announcement The Lost City Adventure will be open, and with all the necessary government guidelines in place to keep you safe! Walk-ins and online bookings are welcome, with the website going live today!

Although words can’t do this attraction the justice it deserves, I hope we’ve persuaded you enough to check it out sometime.

Final words from Lane and Alice, “We are so excited to open, to show people how cool it is in here”, and it really is cool.
