HETA opens applications for 2025 apprenticeship programme

Yorkshire and the Humber’s leading engineering training provider, HETA, is urging future engineers to take action over the Christmas period, as applications for their 2025/26 apprenticeship programme remain open.

With a proud legacy of training engineering talent since 1967, HETA offers apprenticeships that combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, preparing learners for successful careers in industries like food and drink, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energy.

Those looking for a career as an engineer or technician are invited to apply today

HETA’s state-of-the-art facilities, including a new £5.5m training centre in Grimsby, provide an exceptional environment for learning. Supported by the Local Skills Improvement Fund, these facilities enable apprentices to gain practical skills that are in high demand. Mentored by experienced professionals, learners receive top-tier guidance throughout their journey.

Over 400 businesses, including some of the UK’s biggest engineering and manufacturing names, trust HETA to develop their workforce. Apprentices can specialise in disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, machining, fabrication and welding, and process engineering, setting themselves up for rewarding careers.
