November brings a welcome breather before the Christmas rush — but there’s still plenty going on across Hull and East Yorkshire. The first signs of the festive season start to appear with the Scandinavian Christmas Market and Cobwebs and Cream Teas at Christmas, while big names like Jimmy Carr and An Evening with David Walliams bring top-tier entertainment to the city.

There’s also loads of live music to enjoy, from Billy Gillies and Lack of Afro to Waterloo – A Tribute to ABBA and Daft Funk Live. Plus, Hull Comedy Festival is back with its usual mix of laughs, and theatre fans can look forward to ‘Allo ‘Allo! and the start of panto season with Dick Whittington. November might be chilled, but it’s far from quiet.

So grab your diary and make some plans — November’s the perfect mix of relaxed nights out and early festive fun before things really start to ramp up.
