Hull’s dessert scene has plenty to go at, and if you’ve got a sweet tooth, these three are well worth a visit.
Sweet Little Things, Newland Avenue
A pretty, pink tearoom with a proper dessert line-up: creamy cheesecakes (think Biscoff, salted caramel, lemon and strawberry), colourful macarons, decorated cakes and indulgent cupcakes. Ideal for a single slice or a full dessert platter.

Abigail Bakes, Cottingham
Independent and run by Abigail herself, this cosy cakery turns out fresh bakes daily: gooey brownies, cream-filled “bronuts”, marble cookies and thick milkshakes. She also makes personalised cakes for birthdays and other occasions.

Heavenly Desserts, Paragon Street
A treat-yourself spot with loaded Dubai Chocolate pancakes (pistachio + gelato), warm cookie dough, croffles and classic cheesecakes, plus “glow” drinks like the Candy Cooler and Pink Dragon.
