New dub/reggae event starting at The Adelphi this month

Expect a night of heavyweight dub, reggae, roots, and steppas as a new event is due to start at This Adelphi this month, called “Hull Dub Club”.

The team behind Hull Dub Club welcome you to The Adelphi on the 22nd of July for an event packed full of heavy dub and reggae that will be perfect for any fans of the genre.

Dub Junction are the team are behind this amazing event, having previously being called “Get Down”, the team had put on many great events but decided to rebrand and change their name to “Dub Junction” in August of 2020 and focus on promoting sound system based music with a record label under the same name.

This first event will feature Simma representing Dub Junction alongside some special guests from York’s Irie Vibes Sound System crew, with warm up selections from John Peters / Funkywormhole.

This event is post lockdown so dancing will be allowed and fully encouraged, but Dub junction are still conscious about what could happened their event goers so the event will be booked up to 75% capacity to help ease people back into a full venue.
