Jimmy Eat World Live

Jimmy Eat World are a mid-’90s rock band known mostly for their classic anthem “The Middle”. Released in 2001, the song now has over 300,000,000 spotify streams alone and even with so many new artists in the alternative and emo scene, the band have managed to stay just as relevant today as they were in the 90’s and early 2000’s,

This week. you can grab a virtual ticket to the band’s exciting live online performance of their tenth studio album “Surviving”. Going live on the 15th of January, the show will begin at 11 pm and will be available on-demand for 72 hours after the initial live performance!

The Luka State Live

Thurs 14th January

The Luka State are an English rock band that formed in 2013 and have been on the rise with an ever-growing international following ever since. After providing us with killer tunes already and having tonnes of energy on stage, the band is back with the release of the album “FALL IN FALL OUT” and an exciting virtual tour!

This free online event will be available to stream live on Thursday 14th January from your Tv, phone, laptop, tablet, or computer. Order your ticket from The Luka State website and be sure to check out their newest release dropping 29th January.

Shame Live

Shame is a five piece British post-punk band that has received critical acclaim from both NME and Clash Magazine, and have a devoted online following. The band is releasing their newest album “Dunk Tank Pink” on the 15th January and is celebrating with an online live performance from Rough Trade on Thursday 14th January. This will be the first time fans will hear and see the band performing songs from their newest album, and the first time the band will play them live! Cerys Matthews Live Q&A

Fri 15th January

Another event brought to you by independent record label Rough Trade this week is a live Q&A with singer and songwriter Cerys Matthews, author Lemn Sissay, solo project Hidden Orchestra (Joe Acheson), and poet’s MA.MOYO and Anthony Anaxagorou. The Q&A will celebrate the collaborative album from Cerys Matthews ‘We Come From the Sun’ that features 10 poets and Hidden Orchestra. 

The event goes live at 7pm on Zoom and by purchasing a ticket you will not only gain Q&A access, you will also receive a ‘We Come From The Sun’ CD, delivered by post. For full details visit the official stream website.

Omid Djalili: Schmuck For A Night Live

It’s not just musicians taking a step into online streaming this week, multi award-winning comedian and actor Omid Djalili will be streaming his sold out 2016 tour “Schmuck For A Night” exclusively from Dice this Thursday evening. 

Omid is known for his infectious comedic persona and for his performances in famed films “The Mummy” and “Gladiator”. The “Schmuck For A Night” tour has been described to “have something for everyone” and will definitely be worth the watch if you missed out on seeing the show the first time round!
