Shame is a five piece British post-punk band that has received critical acclaim from both NME and Clash Magazine, and have a devoted online following. The band is releasing their newest album “Dunk Tank Pink” on the 15th January and is celebrating with an online live performance from Rough Trade on Thursday 14th January. This will be the first time fans will hear and see the band performing songs from their newest album, and the first time the band will play them live! Another event brought to you by independent record label Rough Trade this week is a live Q&A with singer and songwriter Cerys Matthews, author Lemn Sissay, solo project Hidden Orchestra (Joe Acheson), and poet’s MA.MOYO and Anthony Anaxagorou. The Q&A will celebrate the collaborative album from Cerys Matthews ‘We Come From the Sun’ that features 10 poets and Hidden Orchestra.
The event goes live at 7pm on Zoom and by purchasing a ticket you will not only gain Q&A access, you will also receive a ‘We Come From The Sun’ CD, delivered by post. For full details visit the official stream website.
