Titanic- Story of the World’s Most Famous Liner

Thursday 15 April, 5:30 PM – 6:45 PM

He will talk through the creation of the boat and then its ‘unsinkable’ reputation, which we all know to be wrong. As this event is hosted by New Manchester Walks, they will also speak about the many Northern passengers and figures on board, although not the man from Hull that survived- Joseph Boxall, the fourth officer on the Titanic. It’s clear to see that this famous story was a monumental part of local as well as national history.
