Pasco’s Italian in Hull city centre has just launched a brand-new Grab & Go counter, and it’s a total game-changer for lunchtime. And yes, those towering treats in the video thumbnail above? They’re not cakes – they’re actually sandwiches you can grab for lunch right now.
Pasco’s Italian in the city centre has launched a new Grab & Go counter, and it’s a game-changer for lunch. These massive focaccia sandwiches, freshly made pasta, desserts, and drinks are all available to take away!
The focaccia sandwiches are huge, with your choice of two toppings included – we had pepperoni, mozzarella and basil, and one with prosciutto ham, mozzarella and rocket. You get 2 fillings included, and extras are 75p each if you want to load it up.
They’re also serving fresh pasta, cooked to order and ready within 3 minutes. We tried the creamy carbonara which was absolutely divine, and a spicy rigatoni arrabbiata, which had a gorgeous flavour with just a little spice.
There’s a good few desserts to pick from too, like cakes cooked on site; We tried the Oreo cheesecake and Maltesers cheesecake, as well as Cannoli and Rolo brownies. And drinks-wise, there’s tea, caramel lattes, hot chocolate and more.
The Grab & Go meal deal includes a sandwich or pasta, with crisps or dessert, and a drink – perfect for a quick but proper lunch. They’ve even got loyalty cards, and the full menu is available to takeaway with 10% off if you collect. You’ll find them on Uber Eats and Just Eat too.
We’ve already been back since filming – and with food this good, it definitely won’t be the last time. If you’re in the area and fancy something proper tasty, it’s well worth a visit.
