Coletta & Tyson, one of East Yorkshire’s most popular and beloved garden centres, has recently announced a whole host of Mother’s Day & Easter Half term events and offers arriving in the forthcoming weeks.
From an exciting ‘Tea with the Mad Hatter’ event to Mother’s Day afternoon tea, Coletta & Tyson are going all out this Easter with tonnes of events and deals that the whole family will be sure to love!
In order to help you plan some fun and family-friendly days out this Easter, here is a rundown of all the exciting things happening at Coletta & Tyson!
Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea
19th March
Treat your mum this Mother’s Day with an Afternoon Tea for two in The Old Glasshouse Café. Every mum will receive a complimentary welcome drink and a small gift on arrival.
Menu
A selection of open and closed sandwiches:
Honey roasted ham, cheddar cheese and caramelised onion chutney, Prawn Marie-rose, Egg mayonnaise and cress.
Homemade classic sausage roll
Freshly baked Cherry and Almond scone served with strawberry jam and clotted cream
A selection of homemade sweet bakes: Mini chocolate eclairs, Meringue with homemade lemon curd and vanilla cream, Fresh fruit tart (sweet pastry with crème patisserie and mouth-watering fresh fruit) & Victoria sponge served with fresh whipped cream and strawberry jam topped with a strawberry.
All Served with Tea and Coffee
Childrens Easter Trail
1 – 16 April
Coletta’s Children’s Easter Trail is perfect to keep the kids entertained finding clues around the garden centre to complete a puzzle. There’s even an easter treat at the end!
When you arrive at the garden centre pop to the information desk with your reference number and receive your trail map and pencil. Once completed return your map and pencil and every child will receive an easter treat.
Breakfast with The Mad Hatter
11,13,14 April
Head down to Coletta & Tyson for Breakfast with the Mad Hatter for a morning the full family can enjoy! Everyone can choose a tasty breakfast, be entertained with magic and balloon modelling by the Mad Hatter himself and you’ll even get to meet the Easter Bunny for a photo!
