The council has today published a Forward Plan Notice seeking approval for the commissioning of works to Ennerdale Leisure Centre pools.
Following the closure of the small pool in 2022, a number of investigations have been undertaken on the works necessary to address subsidence and manage tree root spread.
The cabinet is being asked to authorise the letting of required contracts.
The council will work with stakeholders to programme the necessary works to limit disruption and the Forward Plan Notice offers the opportunity to engage centre users in the decision making process.
