Essential overnight resurfacing work will take place in Rawling Way from Monday 10 January.

The work is expected to last a week and will be carried out overnight to minimise disruption.

Rawling Way will be closed from 7.30pm to 6.30am each night, Monday to Friday (including Saturday morning).

The road connects Anlaby Road with the A63 and Hessle Road.

A signed diversion will be in place and emergency access will be maintained.

The work is being carried out by Wright Civils Engineering Ltd on behalf of Hull City Council.

Councillor Dean Kirk, portfolio holder for roads, highways and transport, said: “It’s important that we carry out these essential resurfacing works to Rawling Way.

“To allow the work to be carried out safely, we will have to temporarily close the road. The closures will take place overnight in order to minimise any disruption.

“We apologise for any inconvenience and thank road users and nearby residents for their patience.”
