This hidden gem, tucked away on the 1st floor of Beaver House, brings the rich and diverse flavours of East Asia to the heart of Beverley. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by gorgeous decor featuring beautiful wall art and an incredible backlit ceiling mural that perfectly complements the rest of the opulent surroundings. It’s an inviting and visually stunning atmosphere that sets the stage for a memorable meal.
During our visit, we had the pleasure of trying some dishes from their brand-new menu, and we were thoroughly impressed! We started with the Japanese Garden sushi rolls, which were absolutely delicious and a perfect treat for the taste buds. The Beef Tataki, paired with sweet garlic soy and walnuts, quickly became a favourite. The Karaage Samurai, featuring crispy chicken and refreshing mixed cabbage coleslaw, was another standout dish that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Seafood lovers will be delighted with the Rock Shrimp Tempura, served with spicy mayo for an added kick. The Glazed Pork Belly, seasoned with five spice and topped with apple and onion crisp, was simply divine. We also sampled the Wok Tossed Spicy Teriyaki Beef, which was packed with scallions and pine nuts, adding an extra crunch that elevated the dish.
To complement our meal, we enjoyed some expertly crafted and unique cocktails. The Tokyo Mary was a delightful twist on a classic, while our personal favourite, the Plum Rum Kiss, provided a refreshing and flavourful end to our dining experience.
Roku Asia’s friendly and attentive staff, combined with the amazing food and decor, quickly cemented it as one of our favourites. Whether you’re looking for a casual lunch spot or a place to celebrate a special event, Roku Asia is the perfect choice.
