Waves – 4th October

Starring Kelvin Harrison Jr., Lucas Hedges, Taylor Russell, Alexa Demie, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Sterling K. Brown. Directed by Trey Edward Shults, Waves follows the story of a suburban African American family as they deal with love, forgiveness and coming together as they overcome a tragic loss.

Bloodshot – 9th October

Vin Diesel stars in this comic book action as a superhuman, biotech killing machine who can heal instantly due to his enhancement with nanotechnology.

Seberg – 11th October

After becoming involved with the 60s civil rights movement, French new wave actress Jean Seberg (Kristen Stewart) becomes a target of the FBI. She finds her life and career in jeopardy as harassment from the FBI begins to take its toll.

A Beautiful Day In The Neighbourhood – 16th October

In this biopic coming to Sky Cinema in October 2020, Tom Hanks takes on the role of children’s television presenter, Mister Rodgers. The film follows cynical journalist, Tom Junod (Matthew Rhys), as he is tasked to write an article on the TV personality.

The Secret Garden – 23rd October

After Mary Lennox (Dixie Egerickx) parents perish, she is sent to live with her uncle, Archibald Craven (Colin Firth), deep in the Yorkshire moors. While exploring her new home, she discovers a hidden magical garden.

The Grudge – 24th October

After being handed a murder investigation, Detective Muldoon realises that the murder site is actually a cursed house. Fearing for her and her son’s safety, Muldoon decides to break the curse. Starring John Cho and Andrea Riseborough.

The Lighthouse – 25th October

4:3 aspect ratio, black and white, madness. Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe star in this two-man cast of the story of two lighthouse keepers who slowly descend into madness on a lonely, remote island during the 1890s.

The Invisible Man – 30th October

This is definitely one of the best films to come to Sky Cinema in October 2020. The Invisible Man follows Cecilia “Cee” Kass (Elisabeth Moss) who believes she is being followed by her psychotic boyfriend after his apparent suicide, and ultimately deduces that he has acquired the ability to become invisible.
