Staveley Road in East Hull to get essential resurfacing work starting in June

Essential repairs will be carried out on Staveley Road, from Barham Road to Diadem Grove, beginning on Monday 12 June.

The road will be reconstructed and resurfaced.

It’s expected to take around eight to 10 weeks to complete.

The works will be carried out in two phases, with all through traffic diverted along Holderness Road.

Access for residents will be maintained where possible. However, access will be restricted whilst some of the concrete repairs are carried out and when vehicle crossings onto driveways are reconstructed.

Wright Civil Engineering Limited will be carrying out the work.

Garry Taylor, Assistant Director of Major Projects said: “This work will help us ensure a safe and even surface for traffic.

“We will do all we can to ensure resident access is maintained. However, there may be times when access is prohibited for short periods of time.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this work may cause and thank residents and motorists for their patience.”
