This Christmas, North Point Shopping Centre in Bransholme are set to make the festive season extra special for everyone, with the return of Santa, giveaways on social media and plenty of festive spirit at the centre!

North Point is thrilled to see the return of their giant, sparkling bauble grotto creating a stunning, winter wonderland in the centre’s atrium. North Point’s grotto is a must-see for all the family and it’s free for children to visit and as a bonus, every child will receive a free gift as well.

If they wish, parents can also choose to buy photos and memorabilia from their child’s special visit with Santa.

As well as the free grotto, children can mail letters and their Christmas wish lists to Santa in the North Pole post box located near the grotto. In the spirit of Christmas, they will get a reply as North Point has arranged for every child to receive a reply from Santa himself.

In addition to the sparkling grotto excitement, there will be free face painting every Saturday and Sunday at the centre provided by Face Painting 4 You Hull for an extra special festive treat. From baubles and sparkles to Santa and reindeer, the kids are in for the full festive experience.

Santa and his elves will return to North Point Shopping Centre on Thursday 24th November and will be there until Saturday 24th December. Opening times and dates will vary so they encourage visitors to check their Facebook page (@northpointshoppingcentre) for all the grotto opening times. The free face painting will be located near the grotto, 10 am – 3 pm every Saturday and Sunday, from Saturday 26th November to Sunday 18th December.

As part of the festivities, North Point will be doing more than just offering free visits to Santa, they will also be running their 12 Days of Christmas giveaway on their social media accounts during December. Starting on the 1st of December, North Point’s social media followers will have the opportunity to win prizes which have been generously donated by our tenants as part of the centre’s Christmas celebrations.

In previous years, prizes have included vouchers from Heron Foods and Boyes, sweet hampers and bouquets from independent retailers, as well as treats for pets, beautiful flower bouquets, brownie trays, and even Hull Truck theatre tickets. With amazing prizes waiting to be won, it is no wonder North Point is encouraging everyone to keep an eye on their social media accounts so that everyone can join in the festive fun!

North Point’s spirit of giving doesn’t stop there. This year, the centre will also participate in the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas campaign. Mission Christmas aims to make Christmas Day special for children and young people living in poverty across the UK. As part of their contribution, the centre will be making a cash donation that will help local children to ensure no child misses out on Christmas this year.

North Point wants to show everyone that even with the rise in the cost of living, there’s still plenty of free, festive fun that everyone can get involved in so they would like to invite everyone to join them at North Point Shopping Centre and on their social media this Christmas!
