It’s that time of year again already! Yes the start of November means it’s time to nationally celebrate Guy Fawkes’ foiled attempt to blow up the houses of parliament, way back when.

Public organised events are taking place all over Hull & East Yorkshire this weekend to celebrate the occasion. We’ve rounded up some of the best ones you might want to embrace the cold for.

Bonfire Party @ ScrapStore

Saturday 5th Nov 2022, 10:30-11:15am
Hull ScrapStore, Dairycoates Ave, HU3 5BD

If fireworks aren’t your thing or something your children enjoy, then our first pick here could be a great way to celebrate the occasion without the big bangs.

Hull ScrapStore, an environmental Arts & Crafts supplier and non-profit charity, are hosting a party for children ages 6 months to 5 years this Saturday. Expect toffee apples, hot chocolates and extra special sparklers!

“We want your little ones to explore our amazing edible-themed activities and get them truly engaged with play! “

Prices are £7.50 per child and £3.50 per additional sibling, They ask for a max of 2 adults per child and advise you to bring along a towel and a change of clothes.

Bonfire Night @ The Potting Shed
