The Enemy have added a date at Bridlington Spa as part their 2022 UK reunion tour celebrating the 15th anniversary of their breakthrough debut album ‘We’ll Live And Die In These Towns’

The band will play at Bridlington Spa on Tuesday 27 September 2022.

In 2007, The Enemy emerged from their working class roots in Coventry to become one of the biggest new bands around. Their debut album went straight to number 1 and would later be certified Platinum in recognition of over 300,000 sales. The trio would ultimately land another two top 10 albums, two top 10 singles and three major awards, as well as performances with legends such as Stereophonics.

Frontman Tom Clarke visited Bridlington Spa in November for a look at the venue and said “Recently I visited an outstanding venue in Bridlington. What makes the place special isn’t the sea front location or the millions which have been invested into outfitting the place, for me it’s the people who work there that want me and the band to come and play. You can buy fancy sound systems and plush interiors, but people who are good at what they do and excited about doing it are a special thing. We can’t wait to come and put on a show in Bridlington.”

The band said in a statement about the tour: “2022 marks the 15th anniversary of ‘We’ll Live And Die In These Towns’ and six years since we all played together. Over the last decade-and-a-half we’ve watched fans begin to really treasure those songs and we’re asked on an almost daily basis if there is any chance of the three of us getting back on stage together, so we know how much this will mean to the fans.

“What we weren’t expecting was quite how excited we would all be to play together again. There’s a lot of anticipation and excitement from the three of us to go out and play, just us, the songs, and the fans. We really can’t wait!”
