The most exciting new housing developments coming to Hull & East Yorkshire

Hull and East Yorkshire are increasingly desirable places to live — no small part down to Hull’s widely-acclaimed status as the 2017 City of Culture — the number of snazzy housing developments springing up certainly justify this claim and indicate that the future is bright for our fair city and its surrounding area. That being the case, it is my pleasure to present five exciting new housing developments coming soon in Hull and East Yorkshire.

The Bank

The former Lloyds bank on the corner of George Street is to be given a new lease of life as fourty-six high specification flats will be built in the old finance hub.

The Bank, as this development is known, shall be a delightful addition to our ever-improving City Centre; most notably, proposed plans indicate that the building’s iconic clock face will be preserved and given pride of place alongside the new innovative modern architecture. The Bank comes courtesy of Surrenden Invest who is an award-winning property investment consultancy, specialising in high-yielding, off-plan buy-to-rent property.

Interestingly, they describe themselves as the ‘go-to investment consultancy for clients looking for asset-backed, full-service investment opportunities.’ You can find out more about Surrenden Invest and The Bank development via the Surrenden Invest website and social media accounts, listed below:

Amy Johnson Community Development

Named after Hull’s very own aviatrix, Amy Johnson, Keepmoat Homes are constructing the Amy Johnson community development in West Hull, just off Hawthorn Avenue. Upon completion, Amy Johnson is to be built around Amy Johnson Square — which is set to take pride of place in the development — and will feature desirable modern homes; notably, Amy Johnson ought to be suitable for first-time buyers, growing families, and downsizers. Additionally, proposed large open spaces and walkways are likely to provide residents with a charming living environment that is, ideally, minutes away from St Andrews Quay, Princes Quay, and Hull City Centre. Interestingly, Amy Johnson was a pioneering pilot who, coming from Hull, became the first woman to fly solo from London to Australia. Sadly, Amy disappeared in 1941, believed to have perished in an aviation accident. Keepmoat Homes are one of the United Kingdom’s leading home builders who take pride in their sustainable and community-focused approach. Persimmon Homes’ Nascent Development in Anlaby

Earlier this month, Persimmon Homes completed the purchase of land in Anlaby where they will build, all being well, fifty-one modern homes. Happily, a range of properties will be provided with one to four bedrooms potentially being made available. What is more, Persimmon Homes are, admirably, contributing over £100,000 to a local sports facility and over £80,000 to fund extra places at a nearby school. Persimmon Homes are a British house building company that prides itself on making homes unique and personal. Trinity Pastures

Furthermore, Persimmon Homes are also building the thrilling Trinity Pastures, in West Hull. Trinity Pastures is set to feature one, two, three, and four-bedroom modern homes, once more, making this development just the ticket for first-time buyers, growing families, and downsizers. Moreover, Trinity Pastures will benefit from excellent transport links and close proximity to Hessle and Hull City Centre, affording future residents with access to highly-desirable local amenities and living spaces. As has been previously stated, Persimmon Homes are a British house building company that prides itself on making homes unique and personal. Kings Reach

Snaith, an ancient market town not far from Goole, has been chosen by Lovell Homes to be the lucky host of the Kings Reach housing development. King Reach shall include two, three, and four-bedroom homes meaning this development is also targeted at first-time buyers, growing families, and downsizers. Being tucked away in the southwest corner of East Yorkshire, Kings Reach is idyllic but also close to the M62, which should provide future dwellers with the best of both worlds. Lovell Homes is a long-standing property development company that builds homes with ‘exceptional style, quality, and value’ whilst offering a hassle-free home-buying experience.
