A new year and a new week of events around Hull & East Yorkshire. For those of you not taking some time off going out and spending your money after the craziness of Christmas and New year, there’s still plenty of events going on to fill your time.
Legend of British comedy Roy Chubby Brown is coming to Hull City Hall on Thursday, and if you’re wanting some laughs, head over to the Comedy Lounge on Saturday for a line-up of 4 hilarious comedians from the UK comedy circuit – Saturday Night Live.
The incredible ELO experience is finally coming to Hull New Theatre this Friday after rescheduled dates, and the UK Seniors Snooker Championship is underway at Bonus arena. There’s also some great live music this week at Polar Bear and the Welly!

The Uk Seniors Snooker Championship runs from the 4th – 7th January at the Bonus Arena in Hull, it will be shown live on BBC Digital Channels and Superstar Online in China.
The event features the likes of Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Ken Doherty, Tony Drago, John Parrott. Cliff Thorburn with Michael Judge as Defending Champion.
