After that exciting 4-day Jubilee weekend, we’ve got a list of events to keep your spirits up and keep you out and about this week. The Deep is hosting a series of informative talks, covering helicopter rescues, the Humber ecosystem, and more. Stand-up comedy from Al Murray and Paul Zerdin bring the laughs, and there’s music from the Electric Ladies, Paloma Faith, and more. Street Food Nights, starting this week, provide a great opportunity to get out and enjoy a wide range of hot food and drinks taking inspiration from all over the world.

Electric Ladies

Toyah is one of the most recognisable faces in UK pop culture, clocking up an impressive 10 hit singles and 8 hit albums including the gold-selling Anthem and her recent hit album Posh Pop.

She will be joined on this special tour by New-Wave pioneer Lene Lovich and 90s indie rock chick Saffron from Republica.

The symposium will take place within the INTER_CHANGE Showcase exhibition at Humber Street Gallery and will explore similar themes that are present within the artist’s work. This event has been funded by Art Fund.
