Rust For Glory

Internationally acclaimed Neil Young Tribute band Rust For Glory’s repertoire includes songs from almost every era of Young’s 50-year career, delving deep into the archive, serving up the sounds, feel and spirit of Neil Young’s work, both solo and with his various bands and collaborators; Buffalo Springfield, CSN&Y, The Stray Gators and Crazy Horse etc.

Performing both acoustic and electric selections, their set list often incorporates Young’s more esoteric numbers alongside celebrated performances of ‘Live Rust’ era standards.

The Jenningsbet World Seniors Darts Matchplay

Fri 1 – Sun 3 July 2022 @ Bonus Arena

The Bonus Arena in Hull will play host to the inaugural JenningsBet World Seniors Darts Matchplay, which will take place on 1-3 July 2022.

Legendary 16-time World Champion and 16-time World Matchplay winner Phil Taylor will headline a field of 20 players over the age of 50, which includes JenningsBet World Seniors Championship winner Robert Thornton.

Also confirmed for the tournament are former World Matchplay champions Peter Evison and Larry Butler, alongside former World Champions Martin Adams, John Part, Keith Deller, John Lowe, Bob Anderson and Lisa Ashton. Former World Matchplay finalist Peter Manley, Terry Jenkins and Ronnie Baxter have also accepted invitations, as have Kevin Painter and Deta Hedman.

Ella Street Festival 2022

Coconut Cup Raceday

Summer has arrived and Beverley Racecourse celebrates with the 2nd running of the Coconut Cup Fillies Stakes, won in 2021 by the aptly named Strawberri, trained by Roger Varian and ridden by Cameron Noble.

Off the track, there’s plenty to enjoy with the roaming Caribbean Steel Band, Summer Cocktails and the ever-competitive Coconut Shy.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream

An argument between Oberon and Titania, King and Queen of the Fairies, has filled the forest with mischief. At the same time, four young lovers face a tangle of unrequited love and for Hermia, the threat of death if she doesn’t marry the man her father has chosen. Determined to be true to their hearts they escape into the woods, right into the hands of the fairies.
