Les Miserables

Nearly a decade after the last sell-out UK tour, Cameron Mackintosh’s acclaimed production of Boublil and Schönberg’s musical Les Miserables takes to the road once more. This brilliant new staging has taken the world by storm and has been hailed “Les Mis for the 21st Century”.
With scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo, the magnificent score of Les Miserables includes the songs; ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, ‘On My Own’, ‘Bring Him Home’, ‘One Day More’, ‘Master Of The House’ and many more.

SAFAR Film Festival At HIC

Hull Independent Cinema is delighted to be one of eight UK hosts for this year’s SAFAR Film Festival, organised by the Arab British Centre. Over two weeks at the start of July we will be screening three films from the festival programme, showcasing the very best of modern filmmaking from the Arab world. All screenings take place at 7.30pm at Vue Cinema Hull Princes Quay.

After phenomenal sell-out tours, Walk Right Back is…BACK! From the Producers of ‘That’ll Be the Day’, the show tells the story of the most successful duo of all time – The Everly Brothers.
Featuring hits such as ‘Bye Bye Love’, ‘All I Have To Do Is Dream’ and ‘Cathy’s Clown’, this unique concert-based musical entwines the wonderful, sad yet glorious story of The Everly Brothers around those trademark “harmonies from heaven”.

Vista Festival 2022- Princes Avenue

On Saturday 9th July Hull’s biggest free street festival returns to Prince’s Avenue.
Thousands will be entertained by this year’s headliners Pearl’s Cab Ride, fun fair, art sales, street entertainment, dancing, art installations and not forgetting food from 25 different food establishments.
The festival is organised by the Princes Avenue Community and Traders (PACT) which is a voluntary group set up to promote the local community and businesses. The festival is a celebration of the culture of HU5.

Filament Theatre: Earth Makes No Sound

Earth Makes No Sound is an extraordinary large-scale collaborative choral work inspired by the elements and the changes that are happening to our planet and how we look after it.
Originally developed for Chorus Festival at Southbank Centre, Earth Makes No Sound explores the possibilities of dynamic choral singing and the relationship between voice, movement, harmony, body percussion and improvisation.
