The heat keeps building in Hull and there would be nothing worse than wasting weather like this! So to encourage you to get out and enjoy the sun, we’ve put together our weekly list of events throughout Hull and East Yorkshire.

Birmingham 2022 Queen’s Baton Relay

Birmingham 2022 is hosting the 16th official Queen’s Baton Relay – a journey which brings together and celebrates communities across the Commonwealth during the build-up to the Games. In England, the Queen’s Baton Relay will provide the opportunity for communities to experience the excitement for Birmingham 2022, as the 11 days of show-stopping sport draws ever closer.

The Birmingham 2022 Queen’s Baton Relay is confirmed to visit Yorkshire & The Humber during its final journey through England this summer, as the full route is revealed.

Strictly Presents: Keeeep Dancing

Strictly Presents: Keeeep Dancing! is a brand new spectacular show featuring Strictly 2020 finalist and EastEnders star Maisie Smith, together with Strictly 2021 semi-finalist and CBBC Presenter Rhys Stephenson. They will be joined by the incredible Strictly professional dancers Neil Jones, Gorka Marquez, Jowita Przystal and Nancy Xu.

Jimmy Carr: Terribly Funny

Come and join us here at Hotham’s Rum School for a rum experience you’ll never forget!
Upon your arrival, we’ll greet you with a Hotham’s Spiced Rum cocktail. You’ll join a group of other rum lovers, in our purpose-built Distilling Room.

You’ll smell and taste amazing spices, and choose the ones you like best for your own spiced rum. You’ll bottle, name and label your unique spiced rum before wax dipping the stopper to seal the bottle, and finally stamping it with the Hotham’s seal of approval!

The Play That Goes Wrong

Mischief’s multi-award-winning international smash-hit comedy The Play That Goes Wrong is returning to Hull.

The Cornley Drama Society are putting on a 1920s murder mystery, but as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong… does! As the accident-prone thesps battle on against all the odds to reach their final curtain call, hilarious results ensue!
