The best events around Hull & East Yorkshire this week | 21 – 27 September 2022

We’re back again for another collection of our top events, and it’s a week packed with theatre, music, and comedy. Don’t miss Bat out of Hell, which will be leaving Hull New Theatre soon! Beverley Minster’s Annual wedding fair will be held this Wednesday too. Big names such as NE-YO and Alan Carr will be visiting the Bonus Arena this week as well, so pick up your tickets before they sell out! Dino Day

Saturday 24 Sep @ Hull City Centre

Dino Day is coming to Hull city centre on Saturday 24th September! From 11am to 4pm, come and meet a T-Rex, Velociraptor, baby dinosaurs, and cavemen, and even climb inside a giant dino egg!
Dino Day, which will be brought to the city by HullBID, will feature a comedy duo of cavemen in their cave kart, the terror of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, and an array of other exhibits on Saturday 24 September.

Beverley Minster Wedding Fair

The annual Beverley Minster Wedding Fair returns to Beverley Minster on the evening of Wednesday 21st September from 6.30 pm til 9.00 pm.

Around 40 of the region’s prestigious wedding suppliers will be showcasing their products and services and offering advice and assistance to help make your special day, perfect. Everything from the dress to the hair and make-up, transportation to the church, wedding rings, flowers, venues, venue styling, and of course ….cake!

Thursday 22 Sep @ Bonus Arena

Fresh from an appearance on the hit ITV Show ‘The Masked Singer’ in February, where he was runner-up, NE-YO’s affection for his UK fans has drawn him back for the biggest UK tour of his career.

NE-YO’s hotly anticipated UK Tour promises to be show stopping and spectacular and will see him perform new music from his seventh album Self Explanatory’, which came out last week via Motown Records and available HERE, and includes recently-released singles ‘You Got The Body,’ ‘Don’t Love Me,’ and ‘Stay Down (feat Yung Bleu).’

Turner Price Event 2022

Wednesday 21 Sep @ Bonus Arena

From The Jam: ‘Sound Affects’ Tour

From The Jam are celebrating ‘Sound Affects’, the 5th studio album by The Jam, by performing it in full plus more classics by The Jam. ‘Sound Affects’ reached Number 2 in the UK charts and featured two of the band’s most-loved singles ‘Start!’ and ‘That’s Entertainment’.

Led by original bassist with The Jam, Bruce Foxton, and Russell Hastings, From The Jam formed in 2007 performing around the world to sell-out crowds and reaching the UK album charts with the 2017 LP ‘From The Jam Live!’.

Newton Faulkner: ‘Feels like home’ tour

Stripping his songs back to their purest form. Newton will be out there solo, just him, his acoustic guitars, and his voice.

“On the forthcoming UK tour, I’ll be focusing on the songs that work best with just a vocal and guitar part and no musical multitasking or loops,” says Newton. I’m sure there are some big songs I have never thought of stripping back, but the ones I can’t wait to play are Longshot, Against The Grain, I’m Not Giving Up Yet, Never Alone, Been Here Before, Waiting On You and obviously Feels Like Home. Most of these songs I very rarely play on tour!”
