The Osmonds: A New Musical

THE OSMONDS: A new musical tells the official story, from Jay Osmond, about the five brothers from Utah who were pushed into the spotlight as children and went on to create smash hits decade after decade.

From their star residency on The Andy Williams Show, to the arrival of Donny and Marie, The Osmonds lived a remarkable life recording chart-topping albums, selling out vast arena concerts and making record breaking TV shows – until one bad decision cost them everything.

Jack Dee: Off The Telly

Join Jack Dee for an evening of entertainment (food and beverages not included) in his new stand-up tour!

Star of TV sitcoms Bad Move, Lead Balloon and Josh, Jack also hosts the legendary Radio 4 show I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue.

Additional credits include presenting Jack Dee’s Helpdesk on BBC Two, C4’s The Jack Dee Show, ITV’s Jack Dee’s Saturday Night, BBC’s Jack Dee’s Happy Hour and Jack Dee Live at the Apollo. “In fact,” explains Jack, “I’ve probably appeared in every TV show with my name in the title”.

As Controller of Drama, Comedy and Film for Granada Productions, Andy Harries changed the face of UK television with shows including The Mrs Merton Show, The Royle Family, Prime Suspect, Cold Feet and The Queen.

Rugby League World Cup Cultural Festival

Saturday 22 Oct @ Trinity Square, Zebedee’s Yard, & Queen Victoria Square

The Rugby League World Cup Cultural Festival is an ambitious, inclusive, multidisciplinary festival bringing together audiences for sport and art around the tournament. Taking place in Newcastle, Hull, Leeds and Manchester, the festival will amplify “The Power of Together” and celebrate inclusivity and positive social impact.

A spectacular new outdoor performance brings the atmosphere and passion of the Rugby League out of the stadium and onto the streets. All before kick-off. This specially-commissioned free show, which features dance, music and aerial performance, tells three unique stories about the game and its people, charting how it has evolved from its roots to the sport we see today which inspires such passion in its fans.

Halloween at the Hall

Monday 24 to Sunday 30 Oct @ Burton Constable Hall

With a Gruesome Grounds ticket you are entitled to access our Petrifying Pumpkin Trail, Creepy Crafts and Spooky Story Telling, plus each pre-booked child ticket comes with a free goodie bag!

As usual, a Grounds ticket means you can explore our other walks & trails and the Stable Block from 10am-5pm, so make a day of it!

There may be additional activities and stalls on the day of your visit but these are likely to require payment.
