8. Yo Dynamo + The Evil Litter + STUKA

Tuesday 27th July 2021 (Starts at 8pm)

Yo Dynamo: How much blistering sound is it possible to make in a band of just two people? History has shown us the answer is Quite A Lot. From the swamp blues of The White Stripes to the anthemic rock of Japandroids to the noise maelstrom of Lightning Bolt, some of the wildest and most cacophonous music ever recorded has been laid down by duos. Three’s a crowd, baby!

The Evil Litter: Hull three piece The Evil Litter walk a perverse line between ‘art house’ and punk rock. Writing each song in its entirety within a 20 minute framework maintains a raw energy and Dada attitude. Often compared to The Slits, Siouxie & the Banshees, PJ Harvey, PIL, Sonic Youth & Jacques Brel, The Evil Litter are commanding both headline and big scene support slots (Bo Ningen, Girls In Synthesis, The Extons, Canshaker Pi). Check out recent album release Keep Yourself Afraid and social media for new recordings and upcoming tour dates. Join the ever growing Kitty Litter!

STUKA: Four piece punk outfit bringing CBGB inspired lyrics and energy to the underbelly of Hull’s electrical punk scene.”

Anyone’s who’s a fan of underground bands will not want to miss this bill of amazing bands from Hull and the Yorkshire area, it’s £5 on the door so get yourself down.

The band will play their first ever show on Saturday July 31st 2021 at The New Adelphi Club in Hull.”

10. The Residents Association – Back On The Dancefloor!

Friday 30th July 2021 (starts at 7pm)

“The Residents Association is a night in Hull at the Adelphi, on the last Friday of the month. From 8pm we present a good old fashioned knees up of all the resident DJs from Hull nights: big, small, medium and laaaarrrge! Those you still see from week to week and month to month and those that if you’re lucky you might see once a year, all under one roof playing the popular, the obscure, the eclectic and the just plain good tunes you’d expect to hear at a house party but without someone pissing in your kettle or putting fags out in your oil burner.“

Nobody will want to miss one of the Adelphi’s most popular nights coming back after lockdown. This Residents Association is going to be one to remember… tickets are available here, grab one quickly.
