We have yet another week full of jolly goodness in Hull & East Yorkshire with great events to keep us entertained. There’s live music as usual and some new things for those who prefer a good night in.
The wonderful Gary Ryan is bringing his Neil Diamond tribute to town, but if you’re looking for something more local and low-key, look no further than Service Station with Acoustic performances from some of the most talented musicians in our fine city.

Hull Christmas Light Switch On

After missing out on a big event last year, the big ‘Christmas Light Switch-On’ is back in Queen Victoria Square this year as Hull City Council unveil the huge Christmas tree and lights. There will be entertainment from Hull City Hall balcony before the big switch on around 6:45pm.

A double bill will see new performance work by writer and performing artist Otis Mensah, and cross disciplinary artist, G.
Taking influence from Jazz, Hip-Hop and spoken word, both Otis and G will develop unique performances of newly commissioned work alongside some existing pieces in response to themes of family, identity and the body present within Jasleen Kaur’s new solo exhibition Flesh ‘n’ Blood on throughout Autumn at Humber Street Gallery.
