Top Tribute Gigs coming to Hull and East Yorkshire this Spring

This spring you can see some incredible tribute acts across Hull & East Yorkshire’s premier venues who have dedicated their talents to some of the biggest names in music. There are tributes to Elton John, Little Mix, Oasis, Bob Dylan, and many many more. Check them out below…

Woman Like Me – Little Mix Tribute

Monday 18 April, 7.00pm @ Bridlington Spa

The Little Mix Show is back to pay tribute to one of the most popular modern girl bands. This energetic show is going to be performing some of Little Mix’s biggest chart-topping hits and even a few covers from when they were on X Factor.

Dougie Robertson’s Springsteen Sessions

Thursday 21 April, 7.30 pm @ Social

This show is described as “The Authentic Sound of the Boss” and it certainly will be true to the one and only Bruce Springsteen. They will be performing the classics, Born to Run, Jungleland, Rosie, and so many more!

UK Pink Floyd Experience

Thursday 28 April, 7.30pm @ Hull City Hall

Featuring eight top-flight musicians and a world-class crew, this concert-based production authentically recreates the atmosphere of a Pink Floyd live performance, including impressive video projection on a large circular screen and a stunning light show.

With over 50 years of hits by this legendary band, the highly acclaimed show also features over two hours of songs from both iconic albums Dark Side Of The Moon and Animals as well as ‘Wish You Were Here’, ‘Shine On You Crazy Diamond’, ‘Another Brick In The Wall’ and ‘Comfortably Numb’.

That’ll Be The Day

Friday 29 April, 7.30pm @ Hull New Theatre

That’ll be the Day reaches another milestone this year as it celebrates its 35th anniversary!

Unashamedly nostalgic and ‘Relentlessly Entertaining’, the show takes its audience on a rollercoaster ride through the golden age of Rock and Roll and Pop, mixing brilliant vocals and superb musicianship with impersonations and hilarious comedy routines.

Fleetwood Bac

Friday 6 May, 7.00pm @ Cottingham Civil Hall

Named as one of the UK’s top five tribute bands by The Times, this band is going to be an incredible to watch live this spring. Their show is based on the ‘Rumours’ era of Fleetwood Mac, and will feature a lot more of your favourites!

The Bob Dylan Story

Friday 6 May, 7.30pm @ Hull Truck Theatre

Not only is this a brilliant tribute to the music of Bob Dylan, but it also tells you all about the stories and times that inspired his greatest hits. By checking out this tribute act in Hull, you can listen to the iconic songs- Knocking on Heaven’s Door, Mr Tambourine Man (and so many more!) whilst also journeying into the 1960s and discovering more about Bob Dylan.

The Elton Show

Thursday 12 May, 7.30pm @ Hull City Hall

This uniquely entertaining show joyfully re-creates the magical “spirit” of Elton John and his music covering four decades of incredible music, from the 70s up to the present day.

C.J. Marvin performs brilliantly as Elton John wearing the outrageous colourful costumes and playing live piano, capturing the essence of Elton John and together with his live band and backing singers!

In this unconventional tribute, watch the legend of rock and roll meet with the most iconic grunge band, and you get Elvis fronting Nirvana! This show is one of a kind and absolutely unmissable.

ABBA Party Night

Friday 20 May, 7.00pm @ Bonus Arena

This band of four not-so-Swedish musicians have been amazing audiences with their fantastically authentic tribute to ABBA for 20 years! Make sure to dress up in your own ABBA-inspired costume for a night out belting everyone’s favourite songs.

80’s Mania

Saturday 21 May, 7.30pm @ Hull City Hall

Europe’s official long-standing premier 1980’s multi-tribute concert show.

Twenty eight chart-topping artistes from the 80’s authentically recreated to look and sound as they did back in the day with a full live band, awesome dancers, mind-blowing lasers and light design combined with huge video projection.

Seven Drunken Nights

Thursday 26 May, 7.30pm @ Hull City Hall

Direct from the West End, the show brings to life the music of Ireland’s favourite sons The Dubliners. Telling the story of a career spanning 50 years and evoking the spirit of Ronnie Drew, Luke Kelly, Barney McKenna, Jim McCann, Ciaran Bourke and John Sheahan, this talented cast of musicians and singers bring the music of this iconic group to life.

A performance that will have you singing and clapping along to such classics as ‘The Wild Rover’, ‘The Black Velvet Band’, ‘The Irish Rover’, ‘Molly Malone’, ‘Finnegan’s Wake’, ‘McAlpines Fusileers’, ‘Raglan Road’ and of course ‘The Seven Drunken Nights’.

90’s Disco Party Night

Letz Zep

Friday 27 May, 8.00pm @ O’Rileys

One of the most critically acclaimed tribute bands, Ledz Zep has been named by Warner Music Ltd as ‘Europe’s leading tribute to Led Zepplin’, and their gigs have been attended by Robert Plant and Jimmy Page!
