Indie legends Two Door Cinema Club will perform at Connexin Live, Hull on 24 October 2023.
After a sold-out gig at the venue back in 2019, the band will return to Hull later this year.
Mixing guitar-driven hooks with dancey, electronic polish, Northern Ireland’s Two Door Cinema Club first gained attention with 2010’s Tourist History and singles like What You Know, Something Good Can Work and Undercover Martyn.
Tourist History received worldwide critical acclaim and it saw the band cement a global following.
The band have since produced a hat trick of records of equal merit and success: Beacon (2012), Gameshow (2016) and False Alarm (2019); each scoring Top 10 positions in the official charts of the UK and a rave reception from critics and fans alike.
Two Door Cinema Club have become a frequent sight at festivals like Reading and Leeds Festival and Glastonbury.
The band formed in 2007 and is composed of three members: Alex Trimble (vocals, rhythm guitar, beats, synths), Sam Halliday (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Kevin Baird (bass, synths, backing vocals).
Standing and seated tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday and will be available from www.connexinlivehull.com or by visiting Ticketmaster.
