I have it on good authority that Mr Claus is gearing up for his busiest Christmas yet, and in order to prepare appropriately he is currently doing the rounds in Hull and East Yorkshire! Happily, many of our fantastic local businesses are giving him a place to stay as he hops back and forth between here and the North Pole, so if you want to see Saint Nick you are bang in luck!

Princes Quay, Hull
5th November to 24th December.
Being an out-of-towner, I have never been to Princes Quay Santa’s grotto, although I have heard that it is often the place to be during the Christmas period. Therefore, I write, happily, that it looks like there will be another grotto in Princes Quay this year called Santa’s Enchanted Grotto, although, sadly, I cannot say much more as there is little in the way of event information; about that end, I urge you to keep your mince pies peeled!
