Hull’s most vibrant music festival is back! On Saturday, 2nd August 2025, Humber Street Sesh will transform Hull Marina into a buzzing hub of live music, art, and culture. Whether you’re a festival veteran or a first-timer, we’ve put together a guide to help you make the most of the day!

The festival boasts multiple stages, each with a diverse lineup catering to various musical tastes.

A variety of street performers will bring fun and captivating entertainment to Humber Street Sesh, with flash mobs, Kingston Swing Lindy Hop, graffiti artists and lots more, creating the special touches that make a festival magical.

  • Iota Arts: Puppet Head Parade.
  • Bandanarama: Fun-based band, bringing brassy, saxy vibes to the streets of Hull and beyond.
  • Graffiti Arts: Representing the Hull street art scene with live painting throughout the day.
  • ScrapStore Creative Arts Marquee: A magical den, bursting with creative play for budding young artists, curated by the wonderful Hull charity.

Wristband Exchange: Advance tickets must be exchanged for wristbands on-site or at designated exchange locations prior to the event. For details, visit the wristband exchange information.

Getting There

By Train: Hull Paragon Interchange is the nearest station, a 15-20 minute walk from the festival site.
By Car: Limited parking is available. Visitors are encouraged to use public transport or park-and-ride options. Nearby car parks include Princes Quay (HU1 2PQ), King William House Car Park (HU1 1RS), and others.

Accommodation

Hull offers various accommodation options, from hotels to B&Bs. Book early to ensure availability during the festival weekend.

Important Information

  • Gates Open: 11:15 am on Saturday, 2nd August.
  • Festival Start Time: noon.
  • Festival End Time: 11:00 pm.
  • Accessibility: Humber Street is accessible without a ticket, but certain areas like the BBC Music Introducing Stage require a festival wristband.
  • Child Policy: Children aged 12 and under can enter Humber Street Sesh free of charge, but they need to wear a child wristband and must be accompanied by an adult in possession of an adult wristband. You can collect the child’s wristbands on the day only at either ticket booths or wristband exchanges at the festival site entrances.
  • Carer Policy: Free entry for carers accompanying someone to the festival. Contact the festival in advance to arrange.
  • Search Policy: Bag and body searches will be conducted at entry points.

Safety and Guidelines

  • First Aid: Available on-site. Seek event staff in Hi-Viz if you feel unwell.
  • Alcohol and Drugs: Reasonable alcohol consumption is allowed. No drugs or narcotics. Intoxicated individuals will not be served.
  • Valuables: Only bring essential items and leave valuables at home.
  • Lost and Found: Report lost items to event staff.

Site Rules

  • No glass, drugs, or outside alcohol.
  • Dogs are allowed but must be on a lead.
  • No underage drinking or weapons.
  • Respect the venue and residents’ properties.

Travel Information

  • By Train: Hull Paragon Interchange is the nearest train station, about a 15-20 minute walk from the festival site.
  • Parking: No on-site parking for festival visitors. Recommended car parks include Princes Quay, King William House Car Park, and others.
  • Cycling: Hull has dedicated cycle lanes. Plan your route using Cycling UK’s website.
  • Arriving by Train: Hull Trains offers free travel between Doncaster and Hull, with stops at Selby, Howden, and Brough. For more details, visit the Hull Trains website.

Additional Tips

  • Festival Map and Clashfinder: Available online (later) and at entry gates.
  • Food and Drink: There will be a dedicated food court, and most retail outlets on Humber Street will be open. Free water stations will be available for refills.
  • Weather: Check the forecast and bring a raincoat (if needed) and sun cream.
  • Toilets: Plenty of toilet facilities, including accessible ones, available on-site.
  • Lost and Found: Ask event staff if you lose any items.
  • Photography and Media: By attending, you consent to be included in any filming, photography, or recordings for promotional purposes.
