Bangin’ Burgers – Delicious burger joints in Hull and East Yorkshire

When it comes to burgers, Hull is graced with some of the best in the country. Dope Burger springs to mind of course, but that’s not all we have to offer! From dedicated burger joints to restaurants with gems on their menus, we’ve got plenty of options for those days when nothing but a burger will hit the spot.

Here are some bangin’ burger joints in Hull, with a few more thrown in from wider East Yorkshire for good measure!

Dope Burger

18 Witham, Hull HU9 1BY | 556 Beverley Rd, Newland, Hull HU6 7LG | Trinity House Ln, Hull HU1 2JH

Dope Burger is a local favourite that’s been serving up American-style burgers for over a decade now. Originally established in 2011 by Oliver Johnson as a small kiosk opposite Paragon Station, everyone in Hull was asking if you’d tried the burgers from that little kiosk back then, and for good reason!

They bagged the BBC’s Britain’s Best Burger Takeaway award in 2022 too, but it’s the local reviews that truly sing their praises; you’d be hard-pressed to find a room in Hull without someone who loves Dope. There are a few outlets across Hull, with a massive selection of burgers to satisfy any craving!

Kicks Bar & Grill

54 – 60 Paragon St, Hull HU1 3PE

Since opening, Kicks has been hugely successful, in no small part due to their crazy and unique events. Their now-famous Bottomless Crisp Party even had the bar mentioned on the BBC, ITV’s This Morning, Have I Got News For You, and countless radio stations and blogs worldwide!

There’s another secret to their success though – their amazing American-inspired menu, which features some delicious burgers. However, Kicks’ real showstopper is the Cheesus Burger; three prime beef patties drowning in a beer-infused cheese sauce, it’s an absolute monster, as delicious as it is messy!
