Best known as team captain on 8 out of 10 Cats Does Cats Countdown and host of Ultimate Worrier, Jon Richardson brings his new production, The Knitwit, to Hull this Autumn where in typical anecdotalist fashion he will explore coming to grips with life in the post-lockdown era.

Bobby Davro

Bobby Davro, the veteran of comedy, television, pantomime, and all-around expert entertainer is booked for a laugh-out-loud extravaganza at The Comedy Lounge in October. Bobby has appeared on East Enders, Dancing on Ice and Your Face Sounds Familiar but is perhaps best known for his work as an impressionist, with credits such as ‘Live from His Majestys’, On the Box, Sketch Pad, The Heat is On and Run the Risk to his name.

Jason Manford: Like Me

Nationally acclaimed comedian Jason Manford is in Hull next month with his new show, Like Me. Jack Dee: Off the Telly

Long-standing comedian Jack Dee will grace Hull this autumn as part of his Jack Dee: Off the Telly production. Jack is known for his deadpan, dry, and sarcastic humour and has a host of credits to his name including sitcoms such as Bad Move, Lead Balloon and Josh as well as television gigs like I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue, Shooting Stars, Jack Dee: Live at the Apollo and Celebrity Big Brother which he actually won in 2001.

Hull Comedy Festival

Hull’s annual comedy festival returns for it’s 16th time this year and it’s going to be a blast!
Hull What’s On are partnering with the festival to bring comedians to Hull from all over the UK. There will be over 30 live gigs with many free events you can go to.

Being something of a PC antidote whereby he says what he thinks and means what he says, Kevin Wilson shall channel every ounce of his Aussie-infused comedic ability to tackle political correctness head-on—expect controversy!

Ray Bradshaw comes to Hull on the back of massive success recently having been handpicked to support John Bishop on his recent arena tour as well as by Frankie Boyle on his last tour tours. What’s more, Ray’s last show Deaf Comedy Fam was a huge multi-award-winning success. All the signs point towards lengthy continued success with his eponymous latest production The Ray Bradshaw which details the madness of becoming a first-time dad during the Covid-19 lockdowns.
