Rhapsody Coffee & Company
Located in Bridlington’s Old Town, this is a lovely stop after a wander around the galleries and antique shops. Lily’s Bakehouse
Back in Hull, Lily’s Bakehouse on Holderness Road is a dog-friendly tea room named after the owners’ American Akita, with a homely menu built around breakfasts, lunches, homemade cakes and generous afternoon teas. There are options for gluten-free and vegan diets, and they’ve become known for themed events and afternoon tea specials.

Milchig
Milchig in Paragon Arcade feels made for winter days in the city centre. It’s a small, characterful spot focusing on bakes, brunch, coffee and hot drinks, with an emphasis on indulgent cookies, cakes and specials that pop up on their socials. Daze Coffee House
A short walk away on Ferensway, Daze Coffee House sits on the ground floor of Monocle, Hull’s modern office and co-working building. It’s bright, spacious and full of natural light, with big windows looking out onto the street and a menu that leans into speciality coffee, matcha, Japanese teas and more creative lattes alongside breakfast bowls, toasties and bakes from local suppliers.

Cozee Cafe
Over in West Hull, Cozee Café on Bethune Avenue has quickly built a loyal local following. The menu covers hearty breakfasts, jackets, burgers, cakes and desserts, plus treats like French toast loaded with fruit and clotted cream, Affogato with Italian gelato and espresso, and a good mix of milkshakes, coffees and hot chocolates.
