Those enjoying an evening out in Hull have even more options to get home safely thanks to late Saturday night buses, funded by Hull City Council.
Using money allocated by the Department for Transport, the council, working with local bus operators Stagecoach and East Yorkshire Buses, is offering new late-night services every Saturday. With a discounted fare of just £1 per journey.
The new services, which will run until the end of March 2025, have been put on to support the city’s night-time economy and encourage more people to use sustainable forms of transport more regularly.
