Hull City Hall is set to host one of the most magical family events of the festive season. On Sunday, 7 December, Carrot Productions brings The Snowman to life in a way that has delighted audiences across the UK.
The timeless Christmas film will be shown on the big screen, with every note of its enchanting score performed live by a professional orchestra. As the world’s leading performers of The Snowman with live orchestra, Carrot Productions feature some of the UK’s finest musicians, creating an unforgettable festive experience.
But the magic doesn’t stop there. The programme also includes Peter and the Wolf, Prokofiev’s famous symphonic fairy tale, accompanied by a brand-new animated film. To set the scene, the orchestra will open with a lively Christmas medley by CBeebies composer Daniel Whibley. And yes, the Snowman himself will make a special appearance on stage.
Hailed by The Guardian, The Sunday Times and The Telegraph as one of the top family Christmas events, this show is perfect for all ages. Performances take place at 1pm and 3:30pm.
