Summer is finally here and with it comes the opportunity of visiting some of Hull and East Yorkshire’s finest new eateries and restaurants, and with the current string of amazing weather there’s no better time for sitting outside with family and friends to eat, drink, and socialise in some of the best places to eat.

The local area’s culinary landscape is constantly changing, allowing locals to sample all kinds of new and unique food and drink, courtesy of Hull and East Yorkshire’s exciting, newly opened establishments. With this in mind, here are some of the finest new eateries to visit this Summer, whenever you’re in need of some relaxation and good quality food.

Hugo Smokehouse

Hammonds of Hull Food Hall, 1 Paragon Street, Kingston upon Hull

In recent months Hammonds of Hull has been responsible for introducing a wide variety of exceptional culinary establishments to the people of Hull and East Yorkshire- serving up everything from pizza and seafood to delicious comfort food, the latter of which is championed by Hugo Smokehouse, a newly opened eatery whose wealth of tasty wings and moreish fries makes it more than worth a visit! Another new addition to the ever bustling Hammonds of Hull Food Hall is the Northern Sole Fish Kitchen- an establishment which perfectly combines wonderfully sourced seafood with outstanding cooking and hospitality. Hull’s city centre is currently going through something of a rejuvenation, with a number of impressive establishments being opened week after week, pulling customers into the city for the opportunity of tasting delicious food and socialising. Nanouk, a stone’s throw from Trinity Market, is a newly opened establishment which specialises in food and drink equally, functioning as both a bar and a restaurant. Nanouk is particularly popular with those seeking to book events, and given the establishments delicious buffets and wealth of fantastic cocktails, this comes as no surprise. Cuban Pete’s Hull

In the past few years Hull’s historic Humber Street has gradually ascended towards being one of the cities most popular places to dine, drink, and mingle with friends, and given the area’s wealth of picturesque views and centrality, this is hardly surprising.
