Hull finally has its first-ever Five Guys, and it’s just opened at Kingswood Leisure Park!
The hugely popular American burger chain started as a small family-run restaurant in Virginia and has since become one of the most famous burger spots in the world. Now, Hull has its very own location, and we had to check it out.
We kicked things off with the burgers, which are fully customisable with 15 free toppings, so you can make them exactly how you like. We also gave one of their hot dogs a go – split and grilled for extra crispiness – and both were absolutely spot-on.
The fries come in enormous portions, either plain or packed with spicy seasoning if you opt for the Cajun fries like we did. There are plenty of dips to serve yourself, or if you’re feeling adventurous, you can even go for a cheeky dunk in your milkshake.

Speaking of, we couldn’t skip the legendary Five Guys milkshakes. Topped with whipped cream, they were genuinely fantastic. Just like the burgers and hot dogs, the mix-ins are free, so you can load up with Oreo, Biscoff, strawberry… and even bacon if you’re feeling bold! Plus, Hull’s Five Guys is serving a limited-edition Popcorn Milkshake, blending popcorn syrup with real popcorn pieces – an exclusive treat for this location.
On top of all that, there are free drink refills from the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, and complimentary peanuts while you wait. The drive-thru is a nice touch too, with servers coming directly to your car to take your order – and this is only the third Five Guys drive-thru in the UK!

They also serve breakfast, making Hull one of just four Five Guys locations in the UK to do so. From 8am to 11am, you can grab a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, customisable with any of their 15 free toppings.
For those on the go, there’s Click & Collect, takeaway, delivery, and dine-in, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. You’ll find the new Five Guys at Gibraltar Road, Hull, HU7 3DB, open daily until 11pm.
So, could this be Hull’s new best burger? Let us know what you think!
