Cut-price, early bird tickets will go on sale online for the region’s biggest music festival, Humber Street Sesh, which will celebrate its tenth anniversary on Hull Marina next year on Saturday, 12th August.

Priced at £10 each (+ booking fee), 3,000 early bird discounted tickets for Humber Street Sesh 2023 will be available from seetickets.com from 10.00 am on Friday, 16th December.

Dave Mays, Humber Street Sesh Festival Director, said, “We’ve been mindful of the cost-of-living crisis and wanted to make the event as accessible as possible by maintaining low ticket prices and putting on a discounted early bird opportunity.”

Following a remarkable sell-out festival in August this year, which saw 18,000 attendees, Sesh Events Ltd, the festival organisers, are now planning a special celebration for the 10th Humber Street Sesh in 2023.

Next year’s festival will showcase over 100 acts, shining a light on regional emerging artists and musicians, as well as some aspirational acts from further afield invited to join the event’s milestone celebration.

With community at its heart, the event will continue to offer family fun, with the much-loved Silent Disco and Team Extreme Skate Park, alongside family favourites – the Hip Hop Amphitheatre with Beats Bus, and the ScrapStore Creative Arts Marquee. Photography and art exhibitions will run across the festival, with flash-mob dances, and street entertainers creating a celebratory carnival atmosphere.

Humber Street Sesh 2023 will also see the festival organisers tackle some environmental issues. As signed up members of the Oh Yes! Net Zero Campaign, Sesh Events Ltd are committed to improving their green credentials, and will be working with the University of Hull, a founding partner of the campaign, to achieve their environmental aims for 2023.

Sesh Events Ltd would like to thank the University of Hull, the festival’s principal partner, for continuing their support for the Main Stage and the bamboo wristbands in 2023.

Mark Page, Festival Director said, “Next year’s festival will be a fantastic celebration of the 10th Humber Street Sesh and we’re planning some special touches to mark this. 2023 is also significant to us as we embark on an exciting journey towards net zero with the support of the University of Hull”
