7 Great Halloween Events in Hull & East Yorkshire this Year

If you are struggling to find plans for Halloween year, then look no further! Here is a list of events happening in Hull & East Yorkshire that will get you and the kids out of the house and having fun this Halloween!

Movie Night at The Piper

Newland Ave, Hull

Tues 27th October 2020 from 7pm

It’s about to get very spooky at The Piper! You might remember me telling you in a previous article that the venue is now hosting movie nights every Tuesday evening on their impressive 5 metre HD screen. Well, I just had to mention the film choice for Halloween week, as it is going to be especially frightful! Tuesday 27th you will be able to catch Paranormal Activity on the big screen once again but this time accompanied by tasty 2 for £10 cocktails and free popcorn! It’s likely tables will go fast for Halloween week, so be quick in booking your tickets which are available on their website!

Halloween Ghost Hunt at The Hostel

39 De Grey Street, Hull

Fri 30th October 2020

Now, if you’re Hull born and bred there’s no doubt in my mind that you have probably heard of 39 De Grey Street. The paranormal horrors that have supposedly taken place there are enough to send chills down anyone’s spine, furniture being thrown, hearing growling through the walls, ghostly apparitions, best to call in Yvette Fielding in my opinion but no…instead you can book a ghost hunting tour there instead! Tickets are limited, but even if the Halloween event sells out there’s no need to be disappointed, as there are tour dates spanning through November, December, January, and February that are taking bookings!

Grimm Tales and Halloween Trails

Burton Constable Hall

Mon 26th – Sat 31st October 2020

Burton Constable Hall is happy to announce that they will be hosting an array of fun and frightful Halloween activities for all of the family from Monday 26th through to Saturday 31st October. They are welcoming back Gary Star Pantomimes, after their outstanding summer shows of Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland, but this time it’s less fairy-tale and more spook! With a live performance of Grimm Tales on Halloween night. As well as this event, the grounds are hosting a variety of Halloween themed trails and walks with creepy characters creating a fun and eerie atmosphere throughout the week, so be sure to check out their other events!

Halloween @ KINGS

KINGS, Hull

Sat 31st October 2020 from 3pm

A fancy dress competition, live DJs, tasty pizza, and special Halloween offers on cocktails and shooters, sounds like a fun Halloween to me! On Saturday 31st KINGS, one of Hull’s newest and already most popular live music venues and creative spaces are going big for their first-ever Halloween event!
