With the weather starting to take a grim turn, one thing we can all do with this autumn is a laugh! We’re surrounded by some amazing venues who regularly put on side-splitting live comedy every month including Hull City Hall and Comedy Lounge – Hull’s very own dedicated comedy club. Balti Towers a Tribute to Fawlty Towers

Laughing Out Loud Comedy Club

Hull City Hall

LOL Comedy Club is doing a series of gigs around the UK that are full of professional comedians giving you a laugh after a tough year.


The gig in Hull City Hall on 12 November will present the comedians Silky, Ross Smith, Eddy Brimson and Jed Salisbury. The tickets cost £16 and are available here.


You can also find similar events in York, Leeds and Wolverhampton (amongst other venues) with a wide array of dates and comedians that you might prefer. There’s definitely something for everyone!

Ignacio Lopez, Spain’s Best Export

In Spain’s Best Export, Ignacio Lopez gives a silly and satirical criticism on Spanish and British cultures, from food to childhood! Lopez is a hugely influential comedian who has headlined some of the top comedy clubs in Britain and Europe, and his online comedy videos have gained over 20 million views in total!

Iain Stirling: Failing Upwards

Hull City Hall

Iain Stirling is best known for being the voice behind Love Island and Taskmaster, and in this show stirling is figuring out how people manage to be normal. So, a pretty light topic. This hilarious stand up will make you think a bit and laugh a lot!
